Mark Hoover Invests in Zafesoft
Venture capitalist and entrepreneur bets on security.

SAN JOSE, CA, August 08, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Zafesoft Inc. today announced that Mark Hoover, a Venture Partner with the Woodside Fund, has personally invested in Zafesoft and its unique security solution for securing information with edit-ability.

Mark Hoover has been involved in the technology and market development of networking technologies over a period of almost thirty years, including 10-BASET, IP routing, FDDI, ATM, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, Ethernet Switching, Firewalls, VPNs, and load balancers. Presently, he is a Venture Partner at Woodside Fund as well as the CEO of Vidder (Cyber Security Services). Prior to that he was the president of Acuitive, a strategic marketing consulting firm that helped define product and market strategies for start-ups, including Brocade, Alteon Websystems, Netscreen, Maverick Semiconductor, Redline Networks, and many others.
