ITA donates JPY 2,000,000 to World Vision's Relief efforts in Japan
Donation will help provide families affected by the earthquake and tsunami with emergency relief

TOKYO, JAPAN, April 23, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- In the wake of the massive earthquake and devastating tsunami in northeastern Japan, ITA International Holdings LLC, ("ITA"), the parent company of Cayman Islands based Investors Trust Assurance SPC, ITA Global Trust Company Ltd., and ITA Global Securities, Ltd. is donating JPY 2,000,000 to the aid organization World Vision to provide emergency relief supplies to families who have been affected. The donation will be used to provide much-needed items like water and blankets.

"I've served on disaster response programs in Kenya, Sudan, India, Pakistan, Myanmar and Haiti and the needs I'm seeing in my own country are as bad as anything I've seen globally," said Kenjiro Ban, World Vision Japan's manager for humanitarian and emergency affairs.

"We are grieved by the immense loss of life and the daunting challenges faced by those who survived this horrific natural disaster," Director, William Zelaya expressed. "The devastation that is seen in Japan is unfathomable. As a company with strong ties to the region, our company takes seriously this opportunity to provide much needed relief to children and families putting their lives back together. It has always been our mission to help our customers around the world plan for a comfortable retirement and provide sufficient safeguards against the unexpected."

World Vision has worked tirelessly to provide more than 6,000 people in Miyagi Prefecture with blankets, bottled water, hygiene supplies and other emergency relief items. In the coming days and weeks, the organization also plans to set up Child-Friendly Spaces where young survivors can participate in activities with trained World Vision staff to help them regain a sense of normalcy.

"We chose World Vision because of their existing track record in the affected areas and their ability to mobilize immediately to provide life saving support. ITA's partnership with World Vision during Typhoon Morakot in Taiwan also allowed our support of the rebuilding efforts. They share ITA's ideology that the tsunami quake survivors need not only basic needs but also long-term support." Mr. Zelaya explained. "Together we can bring hope to these families and they will be able to rebuild both their lives and their spirits."
