Thomas Commerford has been named an Executive of the Year for 2011-2012

MINNEAPOLIS, MN, October 14, 2011 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Thomas Commerford, Vice President at Grubb & Ellis/Northco, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in real estate investment.

Mr. Commerford has 23 years of experience in real estate investment. He has been in his current position as a vice president at Grubb & Ellis/Northco, a real estate and investment firm, for the last three years. Mr. Commerford represents his clients on the acquisition of and disposition of real estate investment assets and focuses on multifamily and retail investments.

He has more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience, and spent the initial years of his career in multifamily brokerage for a locally owned company, where he represented both buyers and sellers in the acquisition and disposition of multifamily properties of various sizes.

Mr. Commerford earned a Bachelor of Arts in business from the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the Minnesota Multi Housing Association, Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties and International Council of Shopping Centers. In the future, he hopes to expand his capabilities on a more national platform, and continue to provide his clients with exceptional service and products.
