Onofrio "Noff" Colabella led BNC Insurance Agency to an Agency of the Year Award

With more than two decades of professional experience, Onofrio Colabella is a noted expert in construction and real estate issues, contract labor law, and commercial and residential rentals. His firm focuses on a total cost of risk approach. They review all aspects of risk from a strategic, financial, and operational standpoint. Their specialty is Workers Comp recovery and forensic reviews to uncover lost money. They do more than merely transact business.

He co-founded BNC Insurance Agency in 1997, drawing on his background as a construction developer and as an agent with Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company (since 1993). In his current capacity as principal, Mr. Colabella is responsible for supervising staff, handling sales and marketing, dealing with potential new carriers, meeting with carrier representatives regarding new products, mentoring and motivating salespeople, and communicating with clients. He is also responsible for new business development. Thanks to his perseverance, creativity and hard work, Mr. Colabella saw BNC win an Agency of the Year Award, and considers this among the highlights of his career.

Mr. Colabella earned a bachelor of science in business administration in 1980 from the New York Institute of Technology. His professional affiliations include the Building Owners Management Association, and Professional Insurance Agents. Mr. Colabella also holds a CIC designation (Certified Insurance Counselor).
